Default Magnum story

So this guy escaped from jail in NC last week. Dangerous fellow.... I
think he shot a cop. Anyway he broke into a house and stole the owner's
car. A blue magnum. Advantage is that he can drive real fast because I
think it is a hemi. Bad news is that I have yet to see any other Magnums
on the road here in NC. Should be easy to spot.

More information on the stolen blue Magnum wagon. Apparently it was found
at the bottom of a pond in rural NC. Did the escapee ditch it on purpose or
was he hampered by its poor visibility. Guess we will find out when and if
he is captured.

Sounds like you have Magnum Envy! What's the deal, can't afford one?

I miss not having a wagon.... right now I have 2 sedans. And would love
the hemi. But I am concerned about what is going to happen to gas prices in
the next few years.

Dude,

First you knock the visibility, I responded that based on my personal
experience of owning a Durango, a 69 Mustang, and a Magnum RT, that the
visibility in the RT is exceptional. Then you move to the gas issue.

In my 2005 Dodge Magnum RT (Hemi Engine), I get 23-24 mpg on the freeway if
it's long distance and I don't exceed 72 mph. In the city/combined, the
worst I've gotten even when I hot rod it, is 17.9 mpg. Not bad for a 2 ton
wagon with 340 hp, 390 lbs of torque.

Now instead of constantly complaining about the Magnum, why don't you go buy
a standard transmission PT Cruiser Wagon, or an econobox like the Hyundai
Santa Fe, or some other fuel efficient 4 banger.

Please don't get me wrong, the only reason I respond is not to shut you up,
or any of that flaming type non sense, I respond only because I think you
are sincerely deliberating over buying a vehicle and that you needed that
final nudge to **** or get off the pot! If I'm wrong, please forgive me.
