2000 Escort 2.0 no spark
What is it?
A box or something near the battery negative cable with what looks like 4 black, yellow tracer wires one side and 2 or three blue or other color wires opposite side. They seem to be or have been connected by brass strip. Before acid and or fire desroyed it. Customer's boyfriend grounded one side and says it ran for a year. Now the ECU (OBD II) is dead. Snap On nor Actron scanners see a signal. The Actron did see 0356 at first, but a new coil pack is still no spark. 0356 cleared! Now dead silence. I'm of the opinion that the battery was hooked up reversed, the neg. cable end was stretched to fit the positive post. Thanks in advance, this shop got burned for bogus Mitchell On Demand and get this, since the old man deosn't understand isp's or what AOL is, internet access has been terminated. I'm home alone, sniff sniff. wws |
