Why does the Alfa badge have a cross of st george and a dragon on, is there
an English connection, my son spotted it and asked me?

This site is pretty good too. Shows the evolution of the badge from when
Alfa Romeo was A.L.F.A. (Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili of course...)
