My wife is complaining her 147's aircon isn't getting cold like it did
(before it got hot today). Just tried it and I hear no audible click
turning the aircon off and back on. I do with my 156.

Do other 147 owners hear the compressor cut in if they turn the aircon on?

It is a 2003 with dual climate control.

Also anyone with experience of Alfa's third year of warranty?

Cheers
Tony

We're having similar issues with the 156. Not as cold as we'd like.

We're experimenting with a Halfords aircon replenishment kit.

I've never had anything with a warranty that long ;-)

Then again you do have a veritable fleet to select from if one is faulty!

Done too many miles in the first two years so dealer warranty year is
invalid!

there should be a loud clunk when you switch it on.

They replaced my radiator 150 miles outside warrenty. But that had more to
do with the fact that they had obviously knocked it during the service the
week before causing a very slow leak.

Shame they never admitted cocking it up in the 1st place but what do we
expect?

Yes, Platts in Stoke changed front discs and pads on my car in third
year under warranty. Had to get ok from Alfa, but there was no real
hassle.
