Alfa 75 3.0 V6 or 2.0 TS?????
Hi everyone,
Just wondering which is best ??? have looked at a few websites used to own a 2.0 TS but don't know what to make of the 3.0 V6. Thing is is that there's one local for sale and I'm very keen to say the least. Appreciate all replies. Mandy |

Seriously spankable, bundle of laughs. The V6 is superb but requires more care. Hoofing it can cause the back to wander off on it's own. It's lots of fun, but can be a bit wearing IYSWIM. -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Alfa 116 Giulietta 3.0l (Really) Sprint 1.7 75 2.0 TS Triumph Speed Triple: Black with extra black bits www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk |

I like both but I am pretty sold on the V6 Alfa engine. It is fairly old fashioned in that it is relatively poor on economy compared to more modern engines, but it is very smooth whilst retaining a real engine sound (I hate big engines that swoosh along - if anyone can make sense of that!). I'd go for a 3.0 V6 any time. |

Hi mandy, i have owned a 3.0 v6 veloce in the past and for out and out fun
with the 75 handling the 3.0 would be my choice every day. realy upsets the boy racers out there when a big family car can walk all over them. one thing to think about if you need the 75 boot space then go for the TS as the 3.0 has the tank in the boot. I'd hardly call a 75 a 'big family car' these days - it's shorter, narrower and lower than a Ford Focus! -- Steve H 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' http://www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - MZ ETZ300 VW Golf GL Cabrio - Alfa 75 TS - Alfa 155 TS Lusso - COSOC KOTL BoTAFOT #87 - BoTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC # |

But it is amply capabale of carrying four adults, plus luggage, over long distances.
