Serves ya right. Most of the 'children' made in their Dad's Oldsmobile. You
didn't miss anything but a kindergarden gone mad with acid.

John, I have mixed feelings. Yeah, it was a friggin' mess there, lots of bad
acid and etc, but the music, from I have seen, and heard, and had first-hand
reports about, would have, in my estimation, made it worthwhile. It was
somewhat of a interesting summer, first, we have a man some 240,000 miles away
talking to us about leaps for mankind, then, just a few short months later,
there was Woodstock. Both earth-shaking events, IMO. What I'm really bummed
about is I have no clue where we left that pristine 23 window. It needed a
minor cut and buff, a new engine, the middle seat tossed back in (we left it at
my parent's house, so we would have more room, and it stayed there until they
moved, with perfect original upholstery, until they moved in 1976, when it went
to the local landfill), and it would have held it's own at just about any
Vintage VW show around. Damn ;-(

If it makes you feel any better, I was driving a twenty-something window van
back then. I was working as a photographer for the daily news. I'd shoot
until I was dog tired and sometimes sleep in the bus and then get to the lab
before anyone was away. Those were some pretty good days.

Listening to most of you guys make me wish I had used condoms when I was
traveling around the country and the world in the 60's.
