Yes, if you were SMOGing then start from an idle speed of one
thousand and lean it to about eight hundred. I like the slowest speed
best hot idle, and turn them out a half turn. Feels good for my next
cold start.
See what you may do with your stock linkage, maybe adding another
bell crank will convert it to the direction you need. I do use a cable
on my T-Bird: http://www.billhughes.com/tbirdCable.jpg But for off road,
it would be nice to be able to reach down and puller her off. Honest
Officer, the peddle stuck to the floor through all three gears.
