replacement remote for E34?
So I live in the Bay area, and I just bought a 1990 535i. I'm so blown
away with this car. I've always had beaters. It only cost me $2500. Woo hoo! Do all of these things have remotes? It mentions it in the manual, but it seems that there are certain things in the manual that are actually options. For instance, it talks about heated seats, and mirror/seat position memory, and I can't seem to find the controls, and so I think these were options that weren't included on this particular car. Was the remote (and the security system) optional? Does anyone know a source for remotes other than the dealer? thanks, Reg. |

I believe the options are identified in the owners manual with an asterisk, or something... Source for remotes: eBay? -Fred W |
