toco race driver 2
What did everyone think of toca race driver 2? I personally thought it
was a good game. |

I liked it, but never found a fix for a graphics glitch on my system. It
seemed that during a race, I could not see the opposing cars if I had mirrors activated -- only the shadows of those cars on the racetrack. (IMHO racing without mirrors was out of the question). Changing vid drivers (to an older version) fixed the problem for me, but in turn caused weird graphic anomolies in GPL. Given the choice between Toca and GPL, GPL won out. BTW -- my vidcard is a Radeon 9700 Pro under WinXP. TRD2 was the only sim that ever exhibited this problem on my system. If anyone has discovered vidcard drivers for this card that work well with both GPL and TOCA, I'd be interested in hearing about it. But in terms of game play, I really liked it. I thought the sense of speed and tracks were excellent. Physics weren't bad either. Greg Cafferty wrote: > What did everyone think of toca race driver 2? I personally thought it > was a good game. |

I totally agree. Some cars are very fun to drive (I personnaly like the
Vintage Classic), but some other are very very very bad, like Rally cars and winged car that don't feel like winged cars... "Greg Cafferty" > a écrit dans le message de news: ... > What did everyone think of toca race driver 2? I personally thought it > was a good game. |

Good game for sure. Some races were better than others (Rally stunk) but
overall fun pseudo-sim romp with decent story to keep you going. Greg Cafferty wrote: > What did everyone think of toca race driver 2? I personally thought it > was a good game. |

Your post says YES. Tell me again, what > is so great about GT3? Um, it's got lots of cars to drive? Weak reason > to call it a great game. And I have played it on a PS2. Kiddy fare. Did you try it with a wheel? |
