the new "thimble" sized Honda filters are very good the part # is
15400-PLM-A01.

I know the Mobil 1's are very good, too but if you can't find a cross
with the Mobil...I woudn't fret as the same tiny filter is on all the
new Honda's, even the bigger V6's.

be sure to make sure you have removed the gasket from the block, if it
sticks. They had a problem with sticking to the older CRV's.

Is there REALLY a difference in the oil filters (Mobil 1 vs Honda OEM)? If
so, I might consider it.

i dont see anything bout the mobil1 *filter* that makes it worth $10.
stick with OEM and mobil1 oil.

Yeah, that sounds about right. With 10,000 factory-recommended oil changes,
Mobil 1 gives me a little more comfidence to actually go that long.
