Default Question on Stalling??? maybe fuel pump??

Man.... Am I a dumbass or what?????


This is going to sound really silly..........but here is what I found
out. Took it to my dealer and he explained that the engine is
"designed" to cut out at 3,000 rpm WHEN IN PARK. Basically, the
computer governs the fuel so you can't rev and damage the engine. The
truck runs fine in any gear..... I only noticed this one day when
trying to warm the engine up. I felt like a fool. Truck is just
doing what it is supposed to do.
