Possibly..but I got 30,000 miles out of a set of Conti Sport Contact 1
tyres and I do NOT drive like a Nun or spend all my life on motorways.

I don't think the Sport Contact 2 tyres I've got now are going to
manage this feat but they appear to grip better in the dry with a bit
of wear on them than the SC1s did - I guess they're softer. The SC1s
noticeably went off after being fine at the start.
