There are only 3 or 4 manufacturers of batteries, all of whom label for whomever
they wish to sell to.
If you have a vehicle that sees rough roads or off-roads, consider getting a
light truck or SUV or similar-rated battery. They usually have the bottom of
the plates anchored rather than hanging free, so are more impervious to shorted
plates.
I generally use Exide, in the highest range available for the size I need.
