If the car is cranking over and not starting it is one of two things.
Your fuel is rolling back to the tank or you have have a problem with
the spark module. It is not a starter or battery. I have a '94 with
150K on it and I am experiencing that problem now. I have a strong
feeling it is the fuel pump because I am getting other stupid things
happening, the gas light is flashing when the tank is full or empty.
Fuel pump is $150 at Autozone and it is an easy job done from the
trunk. The spark module is also an easy job and costs about $80.00. I
am going to replace mine this weekend just because I think 150K calls
for it.
