-Presence/absence/rating of antidrainback valve
-Presence/absence/rating of overpressure relief valve
-Flow capacity of filter media
-Internal dimensions of filter cartridge relative to oil uptake pipe

There is a LOT more to interchangeability of an oil filter than "will it
mount".
