I don’t see what’s so wrong with the 2.2L 4 cyl. engine. My ’99 S10
had a stock FI 4 cyl. engine. I don’t know if his is FI. My truck
could keep up with the S10 Xtremes an turbo tuner cars. Trust me, I
tried, and did.
