GM Canada built Pontiacs using Pontiac bodies on Chevy chassis. The
Parisienne was the top of the line for a while and the Laurentian was the
midlevel model. The low-end was called the Strato-Chief. They had Chevy
engines instead of Pontiac V-8s and looked kind of funny during the
wide-track years since the Chevy chassis had a much narrower tread.
