As I started to leave my house today in my '96GC, when shifting out of park
into drive I noticed a pronounced "clunk", something out of the norm. Got to
work, no problems, later started to leave for errands, noticed a "thumping"
sound as I left the parking lot. It almost sounded like driving on a flat
tire. Stopped, got out and looked........no flats. Continued on notice the
thumping sound for about 30 yards then it stopped. I have since gotten under
the GC and looked around, not noticing anything apparent that might be
broken. Anyone have suggestions or ideas of what might be going on??????
Maybe a "U" or "CV" joint??????
