Default 03 CRV FUse/Central Locking Problem

You, sir, are spot on

Others may also be intrigued to know that without fuse #9 (radio) in
place you cannot drive an automatic car. I cannot imagine why this is
but it seems the brake relay that allows the gear shift to be moved
from Park is on the same fuse. I got rather a shock when I tried to
drive out and buy a new fuse this morning until I just happened to try
swapping them

FWIW I spent 99p ($1.40-ish to you lot across the pond) and have at
least for teh time being plumbed my ipaq into an external cigarette
lighter adapter

Many thanks,
RB
