Hey thanks for the advice. It does seem like the coverter is not
providing torque multiplication like it should. I did also fail to
mention that I get the same behavior in all gear ranges.. Its like 1st
gear just doesn't exist!

Hmm.. Torque converter replacement on a FWD car, huh.. Yuck. I might
see how long I can tolerate this condition; It is tolerable for me at
this point anyway!
