My Alfa GT (Nero Jamara, red leather, 17" (225/45R17). 1,9 JTD), does not
have that problem. I drove 16.000 k's up until now, and I haven't heard the
sound you mentioned.
Indeed it's a beautiful car, which is responded to me very often by fellow
(Alfa) drivers.
Let's hope the 2.4 JTD 20V will be put in the GT as well.
