location of the temperature sending unit on 1999 VW Passat Sedan 6cyl 2.7 L

Is it driver side or passenger side? Is it hard to replace? If you have
a picture of its location, that woyuld be great.

Thanks,
M

location of the temperature sending unit on 1999 VW Passat Sedan 6cyl 2.7 L

Hello,

Does anyone know the location of the temperature sending unit (the
temperature gauge) of a 1999 VW Passat? I have a Sedan with a 6 cyl 2.7
L engine. Is it hard to replace?

Thanks,
M

Location of coolant temperature sending unit on a 1999 VW Passat

Does nayone know the whereabouts of this unit? I bought a replacement
for ~$8 (the easy part). If so, is it hard to replace?

Thanks
