'99 headlight assembly removal

D-oh. Couldn't get that spring clip back in place, and the mechanic I use
suggested removing the assembly to work on it outside the car. I managed to
find a '99 shop manual on the Web--nothing too...

'99 headlight assembly removal

Where are the attachment points for '99 Miata headlight assemblies? I see
two bolts on top, but there is at least one I can't see that's holding it
in.

'99 MX-5 Antenna With a Mind of Its Own

A CD got stuck in my CD player in my '99 MX-5. After removing and replacing
most of the fuses under the dash, the CD finally freed itself, but the radio
panel light stayed on when the ignition was...

Radio-CD Player Stopped Working

It was the after-market alarm system....a short drained the battery.
Boosting the car caused the alarm to sound, and the key fob switch could not
disable it. Pesky. I had the whole thing...

Radio-CD Player Stopped Working

Driving my '99 Miata yesterday, I noticed that the same song from the CD
inserted in the Mazda Bose system was repeating. I pressed the random
button, and the whole unit stopped functioning. No...

Removing Wax from Pock-Marked Hood

My beloved '99 has a seriously pock-marked hood and front fenders.
Meteorite damage, I am sure. I did not become truly aware of this until I
waxed the car and was left with white wax speckles all...

Shrieking Noise

It was the alternator itself. Gave way in a rainstorm, of course, couldn't
have happened at any other time. (Machines do not like me.)

Shrieking Noise

My '99 Miata has been making a shrieking noise if the engine is warm and
revs fall below 1000 RPM . If I accelerate to 3000 or so RPM--usually in
3rd gear, drop the clutch and let the revs fall...

shower walls). The abrasive pads do not damage the top, and your arm
doesn't get tired.

Under-engine tray

Anyone ever replace the under-engine tray? The one in my '99 MX-5 got
ripped and I just received a new one from Moss. I'm wondering if there's
anything I should watch out for when installing it.
