Neon troubles

As a second car, we have a 1995 Neon that ws a good relaible car up to
about 180,000. The engine and transmission are still tight BUT....

Transmission limp home mode - 96 T&C

A friend has a 1996 T&C with the 3.8l engine.

On damp or rainy days, the transmission suddenly kicks down into
second, even if the vehicle is going at a high rate of speed - awkward
on the highway....

Mini-van battery cables

On my 2002 Caravan and a friend's 1996 T&C, the lead battery cable
clamps need replacing. The cables are too short to use an aftermarket
clamp-on-wire type replacement battery clamp. It's ridiculous...

Anyone know the fine print behind the lifetime driveline warranty just

3.8 Liter longevity

A friend of mine recently bought a 1996 Chrysler Town and Country with
the 3.8L engine.

The van has around 200,000 miles on it - really up there.
Maintenance looks to be at least average if not...
