Oh!! One more thing...I have examined the cluster and cable hooks for
cracks and have found none.. THe hook was very worn but seemed like
there was still plenty left so as to not flex or bend.

Wow! That was quick...Thank you..

Good information...Quick question though: Can I just pull the motor off
the 71 assembly and slap it onto the 72 assembly? (The motor on the 72
assembly is beat)...

I am having some difficulty replacing a 72SB column-mounted switch
wiper assembly with a 71SB dash-mounted switch assembly...Everything
looks pretty straight-forward but it still...
