"DETROIT (Reuters) - Most small cars, including some equipped with side
airbags, fared poorly in the latest side impact crash tests conducted by a
U.S. research group with links to the insurance industry."

Well, duh! Didn't these guys ever study physics? Maybe played a game of
pool?

A 5000 pound pickup truck slams into the side of a 2000 pound car at 31 mph.
Wonder what happens.

And to think someone gets paid to come up with such "brilliance".

What do you expect, it's paid for by the Insurance industry. Every
study they ever do tells us the sky is falling so that they can jack up
the rates.

When's the last time an insurance industry report came back that said
"Cars more safe now than any time in history"???
