Defunct Big-3 US Makes?

I'm compiling a list of defunct (or soon to be) Big-3 passenger car makes
that were made and/or sold in the US. So far, I've come up with the
following - anybody know of any others? Thanks.

FoMoCo - Edsel
GM - LaSalle and Oldsmobile
MoPar - DeSoto and Plymouth

Also Continental. The '50s Continental Mark II was actually a separate
brand. And Merkur...

> GM - LaSalle and Oldsmobile

Marquette, Oakland. In the '20s, each GM brand got a partner: Buick
and Marquette, Cadillac and LaSalle, Oakland and Pontiac. Come to
think of it, did Chevrolet get a little brother? Anyway, Pontiac was
the only nameplate that survived, cannibalizing its elder sibling
Oakland. Also Yellow Cab and Scripps-Booth. Rapid was the predecessor
to GMC. Oops, you said passenger cars.

Imperial. A separate brand from Chrysler. If you include the American
Motors heritage, there are Hudson, Essex, Terraplane, Rambler, and
Nash. Not to mention Willys and Overland.

Acadian, it was a Canadian division of GM in the 60s separate from
Pontiac.

Should mention that the Acadian models were the Canso and later in the
70s, after the division was closed, Pontiac took the model name and
ended up with the Pontiac Acadian which fueled a lot of confusion.

Valiant was a separate "brand" for a year or two, after which it became
a Plymouth.

Pontiac had its own B-body when the downsized '78s came out. The doors
and roof were the same as Chevy's (etc.) but the fenders, hood, trunk
lid, and of course minor trim parts were uniquely Pontiac. At the
second oil crisis, Pontiac decided to do only small cars and dropped the
B-body, reapplying the Bonneville name to the A body, former LeMans.
Evidently, they scrapped the B tooling entirely, because a year or two
later when gas prices sent down and they wanted a B-body again, the only
way to do it was to adopt the Parisienne, which had Chevy sheet metal
but Pontiac grille and taillights. Much less distinct from Chevy than
the earlier B-body had been.

GM Canada built Pontiacs using Pontiac bodies on Chevy chassis. The
Parisienne was the top of the line for a while and the Laurentian was the
midlevel model. The low-end was called the Strato-Chief. They had Chevy
engines instead of Pontiac V-8s and looked kind of funny during the
wide-track years since the Chevy chassis had a much narrower tread.
