Roof Bars for AR 166 from Cooks Motor Spares

Hi all,

I need to buy some roof bars for 166 so I can transport my bicycles and I
can't find a compatible boot bike rack.

Cooks Motor Spares (
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/cooksmotorspares/page18.html ) sell roof bars
compatible which they say are compatible with AR 166's really cheaply
compared to Thule, etc.

Does anyone know if Cooks roof bars are any good OR does anyone have a dcent
set of Roof Bars they want to sell me ?

Cheers

DJ

Hello

I got some Fapa bars for my 164 from www.roofbox.co.uk

They are very cost effective. I've had a quick look and Roofbox UK
don't list Fapa for the 166, only Thule. However, Fapa do make load
bars for the 166 (part number 71780).

I get three full size cycles on mine using Halfords Cycle carriers, no
problems at all driving at speed etc.

Here's the official Fapa homepage (in English as its an Italian
manufacturer)...

http://www.fapa.it/eng/index.php

Cheers

Marcus
