This, I assume, would be the Catman scale before I lost 7 stone?

FFS..I didn't think your *old* belly was an investment on *that*
scale!! What caused the deterioration..a Doc..women..worry..fitting in
an Alfa..loss of acceleration..middle age crisis?

Wish I could lose a couple..

Most people agreed. In fact it's only when I show them that photo the
go '****ing Hell' Benefit of being tall I spose

Decision that I was heading to the upper side of 35, I'd always varied
from obese to morbidly obese. Family history of heart problems etc. and
someone saying 'Here's a diet that you might enjoy' And 'Lo' I *did*
enjoy it and the weight came off.

Bloody expensive in new clothes though.

If *I* can do it, anyone can. Problem is now having lost all that *and*
quit smoking my piety is astonishing :)

...any hints..I could do with an *enjoyable* diet!

...next you'll be getting a flat cap and a Merc....

It's interesting how often the 'family history of heart trouble' +
'fat' + 'smoking' + 'over 35' all come together. Under 35
invincibility means folks ignore them. About half the folk I know in
this scenario revert to type within a year though.. :-(

Bacon and eggs for breakfast. Steak, salad and mayonnaise for lunch.
Dinner tonight I'm having barbequeued chicken breast with garden herbs
and a green bean salad.

Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution. Everyone says it's bad for you, but for
*me* it worked. I'm not 100% sure that it will work for people without
my specific issues about carbohydrate, but it might. And before anyone
says 'OOOooooh, that's really bad for you'
1) Go read and *understand* the whole book. I'll help with the long
words ;)
2) Bad for me in a better or worse way than being morbidly obese for 30
years?

I can get very preachy about this, and it's OT, but if anyone really
wants to hear the 'other' side of carb controlled eating, feel free to
mail me
