It was a spammer. The best thing to do with spammers is to resist the
temptation to make smart-ass responses and to just ignore them and/or
put them in your kill file. You cannot win a battle with a spammer by
responding to him/her/it.

Replying to the reply to a spammer telling him not to reply seems a bit
counterproductive. As is this reply.
