1990 Jeep Cherokee Limited Edition
It's a Hot inside!!!Trouble with air conditioning. I thought that my air
conditining went out in my Jeep (thought posibly in need of freeon, yet last night I stopped at work and the top dash vent up at the windsheild has cool air coming from it, yet my vents in the dash are'nt putting out the heat. What to do? What could be the problem? Some sort of blockage there? Please advise! Mamas |
might be a vacuum problem, like a leak, that is causing the fresh air box to
send all air to the defrost. I think others say that you will find a vacuum reservoir that might be defective, or the hose to it defective. Look for any vacuum lines coming from the firewall in the engine compartment and follow them to check the system out. good luck, dave "Mamas" > wrote in message lkaboutautos.com... > It's a Hot inside!!!Trouble with air conditioning. The vacuum reservoir is located inside the right front bumper (yeah
sounds strange). Tow bolts from the bottom of the bumper hold the thing in place. The vacuum lines run along the right fender and go behind the battery. On my 88 the battery acid ate through the vacuum line and same symptoms. |
