E39 - 530i - won't start!
 

Wen out to the car tonight, turned the key & instead of instant
starting, the starter motor is spinning and (from the sound/feel of it)
not engaging with whatever it needs to engage with in order to turn the
engibe over.

Anyone come across this before?
