GTP 1.1 server need NR2003 CD?
 

That could be kind of akward for remote servers (have to make sure CD
drive isn't in boot path etc..).

I know there's a gtp forum but I couldn't find the answer and don't
really want to register for yet another support forum...

Looks like it. I'd imagine this was the main issue with FIRST since none
of the 1.0 version required the cd at all! I think this is fair but the
ommision of the cars/tracks is a joke.

Yeah but it sort of implies a server can only serve one type of game
(if this becomes a trend) and rules out having the windows CD or
something else in there.

If the clients need the CD (which I have no problem with) I thought
maybe they'd be a bit lenient for servers.. Afterall without people
offering servers out of the goodness of their hearts none of these mods
would be worth much.
