Nav DVD 3.40B - Any Significant Changes?
 

I see that the latest Navigation DVD on the Alpine website is version
3.40B. Anyone know if there are any worthwhile changes in this
version? More roads added, etc? I am currently at 1.0230, so most
anything should be an improvement. My database is dated 9/30, 2002.

I am assuming the 3.40B version was just released this year? Alpine
currently has it on backorder.

Vs. 1.02, it adds streets in "unverified areas", which gets you most of the
little towns that were not mapped in the old versions. The speaking voice
is at a lower pitch as well - she changed from a soprano to an alto.
