Saturn AC Blows Fuse by
david p via CarKB.com
Hello, I looking for some answers to something that probably has the
impossible answer of "Take it to the Dealer". I have a 2001 satun l200.
Worked great until last week. The AC compressor doesnt kick on. I checked the
fuse and it was blown. I replaced it and started it and it blew again. So I
read...

fuel guage/fuel pump by
Elaine again ^,,^
Since my mechanic replaced the fuel pump and flushed out all the
anti-freeze, the fuel gauge doesn't work, it's staying on full. Is there
a fix for that? Thanks from a woman driver driving for 45 years. I love
my Saturn.

Wheel Alignment explanation by
New & Improved - N/F John
I had a 4 wheel alignment on my L200 but I don't really understand the
results.
Please consider the front left tire. The printout had three columns
labelled: Actual, Before and Specified Range (SR). The rows were labelled
Camber, Caster and Toe. Only the Caster was above the SR on both the...

Service Cleanliness by
marx404
Just a poll: How many of you find it important to get your car back from
the mechanic in clean condition? If you got your car back and the seats or
mats were greasy or stained, would you care? Is it Important that the shop
covers your seats and floors so the mechanic doesn't get them dirty or is...

2001 L100 Tail Light by
jtfogarty
My rear tail light just quit and the dealer told me I need to replace the
whole assembly. Priced at $111, I told him forget it. He did mention that
there's a circuit board on each tail light, and mine has failed. If so,
could someone tell me if it's worth trying to fix. I can get a used assembly
on...

SW2 windshield wipers are posessed by
Nick
The wipers on my 96 SW2 with 60K are turning on all by themselves about once
a week. Playing with the wiper on/off and delay switch doesn't seem to have
any effect. Only way I have found to stop them so far is to shut the car
off when the wipers are down. Anybody have ideas on a cause and/or fix...

Door lock switches on 1996 SW-2 - difficult? by
marcodbeast
Hi all, I'm back again with another silly question. How tough should
replacing the driver's side door lock switches on my '96 SW-2 be? The door
looks like it might come open fairly easily, but I'm partially disabled and
don't want to try it myself if I'm liable to get stuck halfway through.

How to adjust idle on 96 SW1 auto trans? by
Chuck Connell
Hi all,
The idle speed on this car seems a bit low. When stopped at a light, in
drive, the idle is about 600-650 according to the tach. It sounds like it
is on the verge of stalling. I'd like to raise the idle just a bit, say to
800. Is this easy to do myself? I am handy with tools, but don't want...

how to remove PCM from a 1992 sl2? by
TheKorn
My wife's SL2 is toast. I'd like to remove the PCM and poke around,
for no real other good reason than I'd like to poke the PCM with a
sharp stick and watch it squirm. :)
I've been able to get the PCM unmounted so that it's just being held
on by the wires that lead into it. So far so good. ...
