Old factory alarm on Concerto: disable? by Jay
Hi, This is for a 1994 Concerto, RHD. The handset has finally given up(buttons damaged) and I don't have a spare. I am able to operate the alarm by shorting out the contacts. Is there a manual override or another way of disabling the alarm? The car is old, so it is not worth the cost of a new...

2003 Honda Accord 4cyl auto LX by db
I decided to check the air filter (pain in the neck) and got the housing apart and cleaned it. However putting it back together I dropped and lost the screw/bolt nearest the strut (you'd think this would be the easiest almost but not for me). If I want to replace it, does anyone know the...

How to adjust windshield sprinkler in accord 2004 by Pszemol
When I try to wash the windshield in my accord coupe I see the stream of water hits the wiper blade, not the glass. Nowhere in the user manual I can find the procedure... It this the same as with other, older cars, that you can put some paper clip end to the sprinkler hole and move it? I would...

01 Odyssey cabin air filter - other details when replacing? by [email protected]
I've read that cabin air filters help prevent dirt build-up / condensation on AC parts like air fins etc. If I replace my 01 Odyssey cabin air filter, should I try to clean anything else in particular while I have that whole mess disassembled? With compressed air? Water? --Ed

1997 CR-V: water from A/C in glove box? by Richard Grayson
Hi. I just bought a 1997 CR-V (117K miles) and brought it back to Georgia from Florida. At the end of the 9 hour drive, I happened to open the glove box and noticed that an ounce or two of water had collected in the box. The A/C had been on the whole time, as it's still warm and humid down here. I...

transmission error code by [email protected][_2_]
Hello, I had an engine error code about a week ago on my 98 civic. I took it to the mechanic, he read the code, which said there was a transmission problem: incorrect gear ratio. He checked the transmission fluid, which was alright, and said the code was likely wrong, it would be like driving a...

94-97 how to replace front wheel stud? DIY? by [email protected]
Hi, I have a 97 accord. I have a bad front wheel stud. When they changed my tires, I noticed that the studs are on a circular plate bolted to the top of the rotor. Easy enough...I can remove 4 bolts, then take the plate off with studs. Since I have not done this before, I don't know if I need...
