2006 Caravan Belt Tensioner by
dprkk
Can someone advise the best tool to fit on the 2006 caravan belt
tensioner to relieve the belt tension? There is a solid square tab
protruding off the tensioner. A crescent wrench will fit on it but
there is no room to hold this wrench and put leverage on it. Is there
a custom tool for this?

Serious Brake wear question on 2008 Caravan by
QX
I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, SXT, with the 4.0 liter, 6 speed.
This model came with the 17" wheel standard. 90% of the time only one
person, the rest of the time 2 persons are transported.
Brake wear seems to be out of control compared to previously owned
1997 Caravan ES, 3.8.
At 11989...

1992 Caravan blend door repair by
Hachiroku $B%O%A%m%/(B[_2_]
I have heard quite a bit about this Blend Door, and after ruining my last
Grand Voyager chasing a non-existant water pump problem, I'll ask first.
The lever/cable is bound up and will only move 1/2 from Hot towards the
Cold position. So, I figure the good old Blend door is jammed. Now I...

A Cash for Clunkers retrospect by
Pete E. Kruzer[_2_]
A clunker that travels 12,000 miles a year at 15 mpg uses 800 gallons
of gas a year.
A vehicle that travels 12,000 miles a year at 25 mpg uses 480 gallons
a year.
So, the average Cash for Clunkers transaction will reduce US gasoline
consumption by 320 gallons per vehicle, per year.
They claim...

By 2014, 12 nameplates from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram will have
heavy Fiat influence. They will either be developed on Fiat Group platforms
or rebadged and imported from the Fiat Group. For example, a fwd Lancia
will be badged as a Chrysler. A subcompact...

Engine Whine Caravan 3.3 by
dprkk
I noticed a low frequency whine the last couple of times after exiting
the highway. The whine is loudest after exiting the off ramp then
slowly dissipates in normal city traffic speeds in about 15 minutes.
The whine is RPM dependent. Any ideas?
