Anyone going to this year's Detroit Auto Show? by MoPar Man
I ask this question every year - and the response is always the same - no response. Is there nobody reading this newsgroup who lives within 1 or 2 hours driving range of Detroit? Does nobody want to see the twisted, bizarre sight of Maserati, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Ferrari cars sitting in...

Jeep Liberty - All power windows/moon roof quit working by Pete E. Kruzer[_2_]
It's my daughter's car. They're all up and none will go down. I told her it sounded like a fuse. I looked in her owner's manual to get the info on the fuse. The manual indicates that the moon roof and horn relays are on the same fuse as the windows relay. But the horn blows. Any suggestions? Could...

Starter, relay, advice for 1991 LeBaron 3.0V6 by billccm[_2_]
Hello: Well, my LeBaron almost stranded me at work tonight. No crank. I could hear a faint click, all power accessories were there. Battery voltage was 13. I closed the hood, and tried it once more, and it started (good, this car can keep it's reputation of never stranding me in 19 years...

Regarding large snow tires and odometer effects (300m) by MoPar Man
So the snow tires on the front of my 300m are these: Cooper Discoverer M+S 215/70 R 16 They're not new (so maybe missing 1/16" or 3/32" worth of tread). Only about 1/4" clearance between the tire and shock-tower guard. Recent highway trip (about 100 miles) and 6 data points correlating highway...

Time to put the snow tires on my '00 300m by MoPar Man
In case anyone wants to know a good combination of snows for a 300m: Front: Cooper Discoverer M+S 215/70 R 16 Rear: Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 205/70 R 15 This will be the third or fourth season for that combination. The front shock tower guard clears the Cooper's by about 1/4 inch. The...

What does the Jeep Liberty DO NOT DRIVE light mean? by Pete E. Kruzer[_2_]
I got this email from my daughter. So, earlier this week, I notice that I am past due for an oil change, about 3 months and 3,000 miles late! Believe it or not, I'm usually timely with these things, but it was due right after the move, and I was caught up in all of that activity! So, with plans...

Odometer/tire size question by Me[_13_]
I have a 2005 Chrysler 300C AWD and used one of those roadside odometer tests the other day and found a discrepancy. After driving five kilometers, the odometer read that I had gone six. That is a 20% difference. I assume that this means that my current tires are 20% smaller than they should...

Guttural Noise From Under Carriage - 2000 Concorde LXi by jaygreg
Over the past two or three months I've noticed a brief, deep, rumbling sound - like a loose heat shield (so I'm told) - coming from under the car just just as it accelerated from stop, under load (hill or incline). Doesn't last long and is most noticeable when the engine is cold. I used to think...
