trouble ID'ing a fish by Mustafa Khalid
I just bought a pair of new fish I have no idea about. They are off-white in color, with all the fins in an orangish color. It's eyes are also orange, and it's mouth is downturned. I hope someone can identify this fish, or give me an address I can forward the picture of it to, Thanks

The best type of fish for a 150 Gal that can go without food for 3 weeks or so possible ? by Andy Louie
As I am a fish lover and will get a automatic feeder but love Chilids or Oscars but thanks to some that it might not be feasible for me. I return back once a year for around 1 month or less. Any good brands for automatic feeders for a 135 to 150 gal aquarium ?

The BBC has reported that a Taiwanese company has genetically engineered an ornimantal fish to glow in the dark (there's a picture on the Web site). Bring on the "Franken-fish!" http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/3026104.stm

Fish safe plastic ? by Jim Brown
Look into plastic horse troughs at the local farm supply. Rubbermaid makes a line that should give you water volume capacity with safety. I use a couple 60 gallon vats (only 2/3 full with water) that were used to store bulk candy at the bulk food shops. No problems after 6 years of constant...

Best way to site heater... by donovan n
You can place it wherever you like as long as it is completely below water. Sideways, up-side down, dosen't matter. Just make shure the heater isnt physically touching any gravel or decorations. As long as you have a decent amount of water movement in your tank the tempature should even out in your...
