"Awesome Aquariums" in the news by D.L.
Interesting article in this Sunday's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on the growing interest in aquariums. Some people are paying $5,000 and up to have custom built-in aquariums installed in their homes/condos -- then they pay someone every month to clean and maintain the tank. Here's...

"Coolie" loach by D&M
Can't remember whether it's kuhli or coolie, but anyways, anyone else have these little guys? I've had mine a few months now, quite interesting creatures. Look dead 50% of the time until I do a waterchange, then they are the life of the tank. They remain very active for about a week or so after...

"failure to thrive"? by sophie
is there any reason that one rasbora out of a group of seven has remained the same size as when I bought it around six or seven weeks ago? The rest have grown, developed nice deep bodies and have fantastic, glowing red colours. This one has stayed tiny, and recently has taken to hiding under a...

"Giant Ottos" by Robert Flory
Anyone know anything about "Giant Ottos"? I saw some in my LFS this weekend when unloading some plants. They didn't know much about them except the survival rate was higher than regular ottos. bob

"Introduction Cage" for new arrivals by David
Hello Folks, I noticed at the local city aquarium last week that when new arrivals are introduced into a display tank they are enclosed in a cage for a period of time, to allow all of the participants to become acquainted with each other, while at the same time preventing the territorial owners...

"Orrco" Mini Hex Aquarium Kit: how is it? by RavenSlay3r
This is the SMALLEST fish tank i've found on the web with a built in filter system. It's a 1Gal. HEX so the foot-print must be pretty small. Does anyone know how well it compares to the Eclipse 3 and Eclipse Explorer? FYI. I'd be using it has a 1-betta tank. thanks, Raven
