Help! My 95 civic won't start by [email protected]
Hello to everyone, I was (foolishly, I know now) testing each cylinder of my 95 Honda ESi by pulling on the plug wires one at a time. At the third plug, the engine died and it won't start. I've read that doing this could break the ignition coil. So I tested for a spark (none), and after...

'99 Accord Engine mount by Nigel Spon
I have just had my '99 Accord wagon serviced, and the dealer tells me the front engine mount has a split in it and really should be replaced. Its not expensive but it sounds rather fundamental - I'm wondering, is this common and how serious is it? Its the F23A engine.

91 Honda Accord air conditioning leak by [email protected]
My 91 Accord's A/C is blowing warm air. I first figured that I needed a freon refill, so I wanted to give that a try. When I tried to empty out the old refrigerant, I couldn't get good vacuum pressure on the line. Obviously, I suspect a leak in the line. Is there an effective way to pinpoint the...

'90 Accord post-repair coolant leak by Pete from Boston
In the past two and a half years I've replaced my '90 Accord's radiator, water pump, thermostat twice, and just had the cooling fan motor and temp sensor replaced after the car started getting hot even while moving fast (without boil-over). Following that last repair, I had to drive the car 150...

What month do Honda / Acura navigation DVD's get updated? by [email protected]
I have a 2005 Honda Navigation DVD (orange v3.4, I think) in the factory system in my 2005 Accord. I am looking for updated road maps, and tested in a dealership that the 2006 DVD has some major highway revisions in my area (Boston), but not all of them. I am debating on whether to wait for 2007...

sealing oil pan 1992 honda accord by [email protected]
Problem: oild in spark plug tubes. Pulled the plug wire out and it's soaked with oil. I replaced the oil pan gasket myself a while back and it didn't solve the problem. The shop later on replaced the gasket again with Honda parts and it didn't solve the problem either. I think the joining between...

Honda brake pads? by [email protected]
Honda uses different batches at different times. Some are Nissin, which have excellent stopping power; some are NBK, which IMO are not very good. These tend to glaze and fade more easily than other pads. Honda also uses some European based brand, TMD, on the Civics, they may be working into the...

Rear Speaker Replacement for 2003-?? Accord by [email protected]
I see lots of various messages on this topic, but no definitive answers. I have a 2004 EX Sedan and I have Alpine 6x9's that I pulled out of my old Accord. I could not easily pry up the rear speaker covers to access the screws, so I looked underneath (from inside the trunk) and see what appears...
