In search of... crank pulley for a 1991 Civic by
Mauricio Tavares
A friend of mine has a 91 Civic (automatic, PS, AC, D15 motor) whose
crank pulley has a crack on it. Does anyone have one doing nothing and
could use a new home?
Thanks!

Honda Care for Pre Owned Odessey by
JJ
I purchased certified Odyssey in October 2004 in Atlanta. At that time
I did not buy extended warranty as finance person did not mention that
I will not be able to purchase Honda Care later on. In September 2005 I
started checking with dealers to get Honda Care. With 68K miles on it,
most dealers...

Honda S2000 oil starvation/ main engine bearing problem by
Gary Peiffer
Hi folks,
I was considering buying a 2000 or 2001 Honda S-2000, but then a mechanic told me about the 'dirty little secret' some of the earlier models of the S-2000 had. Honda eventually fixed it in later models, but it was an "oil starvation" problem in earlier models and it could cause problems...

here in Ohio) around 13-14 mpg with lite acceleration. Hwy mileage is
pretty decent around 22 mpg at 70-75 mph.
How does this compare to others? I was getting 10-12 mpg and dealer did a
few things to help and it did,...

1991 civic rear bearing changed by
[email protected]
Just wanted to thank "TeGGeR=AE" and "Jim Bean" for their advice
on changing the rear hub and bearing. The nut cam off with the
first try with the correct air driver.
I did mine and my friends in about 3 hours. While we were at it
we changed his rear brake shoes and ground down the "lip" on...

All that badonkadonking probably loosened a screw holding a power wire

Brake problem by

1994 honda accord EX - I removed the left rear caliper and noticed that one
half of the inner pad was glazed and the other half was brand new. Could
this indicate a bad caliper.

These things can take a hit by
Shaun Matherly
Hi
I have a 2005 Accord coupe and was travelling in the mad, mad, mad world of
Southern California traffic the other day and was rear ended at an offramp
of the 22.
I'll tell you what, the s2000 that hit me took the brunt of the hit. He gave
me a pretty good shot and it didn't even knock the...

rust proofing (in Toronto) by
itsme
Hi Everyone,
For the last few oil changes, mr. lube is saying me to have rust
proofing done on my 93 Accord with 204500 km on it (rust free so far).
Their rust proofing price is $89.99
I contacted one independant mechanic and he is asking for $140.00.
Dealer is saying about $500. So I am confused...

99 accord ex brake scrub sound after pad replacement by
Replaced brake pads on front of my 99 accord two weeks ago. I used the best Bendix pads
my local parts house offered. The brakes work well but now I get a brake fart or scrubbing
sound when you take your foot off the brake to ease forward, like when waiting in line to exit
a crowded parking lot....

'86 honda civic's steering wheel seems to be getting stiff. by
wannadoitmyself
My old backup car, an '86 civic is getting harder to turn the steering
wheel. When I turn either to the left or right, after comencing to go on a
straight road, the steering wheel seems to keep being turned to either

right, then...

My 2003 Civic EX 4 door was rear ended. The other car was a Chevy
Metro. The rear bumper is damaged, not seriously, but I expect them to
replace it. I noticed that the other car had gotten into the rear tow
hook of my car, I saw the other car's red paint on the my car's rear
tow hook. The impact...
