Quick advise needed for roof rack. by
tor
Hi,
I've looked around but I still need some clarification regarding
exactly which rack to buy for my 1992 honda accord station wagon.
(canoes)
I walked out to the car and peeled up the plastic strip on the roof and
found threaded stubs sticking up where a rack would mount.
I desire to purchase...

1997 Civic EX low fuel milage solution by
Elle
Good work. A few questions for the archives, since this has been a bit of a
contentious issue in the past here, with some saying PCV valve
malfunctioning won't affect mileage noticeably, and others saying oh yes it
can. (I replaced mine on my 91 Civic in 2003, and the mileage shot up
10-20%. The...

Honda Care coverage by
Art
I was reading the exclusions of a new Honda Care service agreement. They
exclude fuel systems. So the fuel pump isn't covered if I read it
correctly. Seems pretty strange to me.

'95 Accord no spedometer... by
Darryl
'95 Accord, 2.2, two door. Spedometer works intermittently. Spoke
with Honda and apparently it's an electronic sensor that runs
CDN$142.23. Where is the sensor located (bell housing or somewhere
nearby I'd guess) and is it something that can be cleaned and/or
replaced easily?
TIA!
Darryl.

2006 accord by
Drew
Hi All:
A dealer may have located the color of the LX-V6 that I want. He is
going to see if he can do a trade with the dealer who has it to get
it. He said that it has been in the current dealer's inventory for
about 20 to 25 days.
He's waiting to find out for sure from the dealer who has it,...

97 Civic w/ DI6Y7 engine shakes badly at loaded idle by
LK
Just a few days ago, following a loose harmonic balance spinning on the crank and grinding off the spline gear teeth of both parts, a salvaged motor from a 94 Civic was installed by a local garage in my old enough to know better, son's car.
The business that sold us the engine ($700 w tax) said...

2003 CRV and Tow hitch questions by
I can't do that, Dave
Hi,
Anyone fitted a tow hitch to their CRV?
I'd appreciate a comment or better yet a pic from behind with the hitch
installed. My friend has a CRV and wants to haul a small trailer. The
road into her place is really rough dirt so loss of ground clearance
with the hitch is an issue.
There are...

Handling/safety improvements for 2000 Civic DX by
wdeagle1
My daughter has a 2000 Civic DX and I would like to improve the
handling, braking, safety, etc. The first thing I thought of was
puuting 17" tires/wheels. Would this be my best bang for the buck or is
there another component that you would consider upgrading first?
Thanks

Soda spill on air controls in CR-V by
Tim Smith
A cup in the frontmost cup holder in my 2006 CR-V suffered a serious
loss of structural integrity, and some of the soda appears to have gone
into the controls for the air system. It has affected the fan control
and the recirculate button, in a very weird way.
There are basically now four ways it...

close to lxv6/exv6 decision by
Drew
Thanks all!
Well...with the final pricing I'm getting closer to deciding between
LXV6 and EXV6. The final price for the LX-V6 is 27,260 with all the
options I've added. The dealer's base price with no options for the
LX-V6 is 23,490. Kbb says the invoice price is 23,141 and that the
national...
