Things to look for on used mini-vans? by Steve Moore
I'm looking at Caravan/Voyagers in the 4-6k price range. Are there any models in the 98-2004 range that have problems to be avoided? Any particular engine or tranny prone to problems? The last van I had was a 92 Caravan, great vehicle. Any info or a good link would be appreciated. thanks:-)

Brake Problem '96 Concorde 3.3 - Possibly ABS? by njoracle
'96 Concorde LXI 3.3 no traction control, 132K miles When I step on the brake pedal, car starts to slow okay. Then the pedal begins to "chatter" (it's tough to describe what it exactly sounds and feels like) and it feels like the braking system is failing. If I push the pedal even harder, it...

rebuilding a slant 6 engine by njot
I am rebuilding a 225 slant 6 engine in a 73 Valiant because it needs new oil control rings. However, when I try to pull the piston out of the block, I can't do it- the rod gets stuck at the bottom of the cylinder. There are little extra lips of metal on either side of the rod that prevent the rod...

1962 Plymouth Valiant Rear Bumper Search by ivanogburn
I just purchased a 1962 Valinat and its rear bumper is bent. Before I start researching places to have it straightened and rechromed, I wanted to check here to see if anyone knows of a supplier or honest salvage yard (preferably in the Houston area) that sells these bumpers. I am not sure how many...

2004 T&C Howling Rear Hubs by GoreTexJoe
Hi All -- newby poster here, but long time lurker. My rear hubs have a major howl to them. It took Dodge service forever to find the issue as it used to take the hubs warming up before they made the howl. They always thought it had to be the (rear disk) brakes. Luckily when I was heading back...

Kirk spurned; Chrysler doomed by DeserTBoB
Looks like "Dr. Z." hosed off financier Kirk Kerkorian's bid to buy the mismanaged and moribund Chrysler Group from Daimler, with DC instead accepting an offer from the nebulous "Cerberus Group," chock full of Republipedo operatives like failed Bushie Treasury secretary John Snow as chairman, and...

TROLL ALERT-"DESERTBOB" by elkhound
DESERTBOB (not its real name) is a troll. It regularly frequents at least twenty news groups, including many rabid/sex/racist/liberal idiot/wannabee mechanic groups. Normally, it starts off with reasonable, even witty lines, but rapidly drifts into lies, abuse and stupidity. It had 2 Ebay...

How to make the power sockets permenantly live by Burgerman
In my handbook for the 2007 Dodge Caravan SXT it says you can "get the dealer to make the power sockets permenantly live". As it is they are on only when the ignition is on. How is it done? Is it a simple thing? I know how I could do it in a number of different ways but if theres a secret way...

How do I go about removing the driver door from a 1994 LeBaron convertible? by Chink
The lower door hinge has broken loose from the weld. It appears there is a rod that holds the hinge together on the bottom (broken) one but the top hinge doesn't have the pin. It has two square flat bolts? holding the hinge together.
