1992 Prelude Si (Speedometer) by Challenged
My speedometer is dead. I was backing out of a parking space and heard a thump, but didn't think much of it. Several minutes later, while cruising on the freeway, the speedometer dropped to zero and never revived. Questions: 1) Isn't 1992 Prelude on electronic VSS (Vehicle Speed...

1994 honda civic transmission by lole
my 1994 honda civic's transmission goes to neutral when I'm driving. When this happens I have to turn off the car and turn it back on. After I do this it goes into gears and shifts normal for about a minute then it goes back to neutral. I have to keep doing this. Sometimes it'sperfectly fine.

I need some advice. by Jeff
My car, a 1999 Civic Si, was stolen and partly stripped. I owe about $6000 on it. Does anyone have an opinion as to what I should do, or how the ins. co. will value this car? Do they use Galves? Should I not make a claim and pay for it's repair ? Am I going to get hosed no matter what? KBB values...

No help or wrong help for Detroit? by Mike Hunter
You can't buy a car from Chrysler, that would be a violation of franchise law. You must buy it from one of their dealers. ;) mike hunt "Matt Whiting" > wrote in message ... > wolfpuppy wrote: >

Pulsating Hum from front right wheel - 02 Civic EX by [email protected]
I have an 02 Civic SI-G (EX Model in the states). For the past several months my front right wheel has been making a slow pulsating hum between 60km-80km, then again and higher pitch at speeds above 100km. The dealer said is was just my summer tires as they were getting low on tread. I put on...

Help needed in selecting salvaged door frame and fender by [email protected]
Hello all, I own a 93 Honda Accord EX. My car was in an unfortunate accident a couple of nights back. I had just parked my car on the street and was emptying the car of some stuff. The left front door (driver's door) was open and an intoxicated driver in a pick up truck hit that door and sped...

dunlop A2 for accord? by ap
Hello, I've got goodyear touring and viva tires on my 2001 lx accord. These tires are wearing out. Earlier I considered Goodyear tripletred and then saw the reviews about noise on roads. I'm now considering the Dunlop A2s. Any suggestions here or any other tires that provide good handling (no...

92 LX auto transmission problems by John Wiltfong Jr
I bought a 91 EX and 92 LX from a local towing yard for $2000 for both. Not a bad deal I think. The 91 has brake light issues that I am currently working on with the help from this group and needs a new passenger side mirror in order to be road legal and pass the state inspection in VA. The 92 is...

2006 Odyssey - should i buy one? by Felton Barch
Hello all, Back in '04 i traded in my Ford F-250 guzzler for the Honda Element. Love it. Now my wife wants to trade in her Ford Expedition for a Honda Odyssey. It sure looks to be a comfortable well designed minivan and, in many ways, looks to be the best in class. Does anyone have any pros and...

1992 Accord LX brake light problems. by NapoleonDynamite
All three of the brakelights on my car are not working, I replaced them all today as well. The running lights work however, there is just no reaction when I press the brake pedal. Is there a fuse for the brakelights I'm missing....all I saw were headlight fuses. Thanks for any advice.

stuck distributor rotor by [email protected]
Hi all, OK. After spending a couple hours and over a hundred bucks doing yearly maintenance, I can't get the little rotor off. It's held on by one philips screw and I'm afraid I'm stripping the thing by trying to get it off. The edge of the rotor is good and straight, but a little frayed. I WANT...

One other Legend question: oxygen sensor by Ryan Biggs
Hi guys, Thanks for the group's input on ball joint issues. The tool store that will be helping me with that also has something else I'll need: an oxygen sensor socket. As best as I can guess without having a socket that can get to it, it looks like a standard 7/8" (22mm). Does this sound...
