2002 saturn l200 brakes pedal has went to floortwice in the last 6 months after doing front pads. no leaks and did not open system. Anyone else have this problem. I would normally change the master cylinder. Its strange that the brake pedal is normal now. Any ideas? Thanks

Lost Key - 1992 Saturn SL2 by Joe AutoDrill
Any easy way to figure out the chip dilemma if I don't have the original key? Is it simply a matter of IDing the code and proving I own the car? ....Or can a key be made? I have the VIN but no clue on much of anything else... The car used to be mine, but I sold it to a college student (former...

Lost Key - 1992 Saturn SL2 by Joe AutoDrill
Update... Apparently, the key does not have a chip. It's a simple metal key. No plastic key or spare key in the glove box, etc. So... It boils down to whether there is a way to ID the key code from the VIN or something else... Any ideas?

Gave my Saturn away by JimR[_3_]
I gave my 97 SL2 to my adult daughter. It has 210,000 miles, and I was the original owner. She and her BF love the car. Still runs good, although the A/C clutch died this past winter (somebody on Saturnfans web site suggested using the serpentine belt for the non-A/C, and that worked...

lw300 exhaust by Oppie[_7_]
Exhaust was starting to get loud on my '01 LW300. Not surprising at 150K miles. Found a failed flex coupler between the Y pipe and upstream muffler. Friend at a local shop cut out the coupler and welded in a new one. There's still a minor leak, probably a pinhole in the weld. Will let it run in...

07 Vue (V6) Ignition Switch Problem by [email protected]
I've been having a problem with my VUE ignition switch. I sometimes cannot turn the key or it will only turn part way. When I turn the ignition off it is sometimes difficult to remove the key. A local dealer suggested WD40. This worked for a while but the problem quickly returned. I tried the...

LW300 rear suspension by Oppie[_8_]
Bushings are starting to go in the rear trailing arms. Ordered new trailing arms at $350 each (ouch!) as the bushings are about $90 each by themselves, made more sense to get the trailing arms. This appears to be just a bolt-in vs bushings which need to be pressed. At about 160K miles, can't...

My Saturn's Radio has A.D.D. by Bart Collins
Help, The factory radio in my wife's 08 Saturn Sky has developed A D D. It will wander off the station preset frequency. Example - I listen to 98.7 FM and for no rhyme or reason, the radio will drift to 98.5 or 98.9 with the loss of signal. Pressing the preset brings it back for a little while but...

Code P0102 MAF by Oppie[_7_]
MAF went again on the '01 lw300. Tried to pass on the highway and the engine hiccupped and went dead. Very odd that all the lights came on (service, SES, reduced power), no response from accelerator pedal but tach showed 1500 rpm even in neutral. Pulled car to shoulder while the car I tried to...

Daughter needs to ID a part by JimR[_3_]
Gave my 97 SL2 manual to my daughter. Shifter stopped working. She and her BF think they have isolated the problem, but need to know what to call the part so she can call parts houses/dealers. Here is her description: a nickel-sized black plastic cap that holds the hook on the knob at the...

Ideas by Stan[_4_]
when we study fuel without oxygen management of facilities, it should be useful to try to integrate the sustainability of the oxygen soon. it is therefore obvious that i guess that we should integrate the remote monitoring of the oxygen in a cost-effective way when we study fuel how did you cope...

Smoke in the Cockpit by JLS[_2_]
I switched on the ignition on my '96 Saturn SL2 recently and acrid smoke, like smoke from burning wires, poured out from behind the dash. I think the smoke originated near the ignition switch but can't be sure. I turned off the switch and disconnected the battery. Later I reconnected the...

All the warning lights stayed on. by Fred[_14_]
It was reported today by the wife that when she went to start the Saturn, it started fine, but all the warning lights stayed on. She then put it in reverse and it would not go. Turning it back off and then on restored it back to normal. Has anyone seen anything like this? I suppose its a connector...
