Where's the best place to find a NEW TOP ?? by
Chief_Wiggum
Any reccomendations on where to get a new top and window for a 95 Miata?
Also, what's needed to put in a glass window ? I'm thinking as long as
the top's getting replaced it may be nice to put in glass . (unless it's too
cost prohibitive).

Anyone ever transplant an M2 steering column into an M1 ? by
Chief_Wiggum
Just curious if anyone has ever put a new style column (and wheel) into an
older Miata...
Seems like it would be a pretty easy upgrade, if you found a nice
donor-column Of course, if all the mount points, etc are drastically
different then I guess it WOULDN'T be too easy :)
There's GOT to be a...

Best price seen on mazdaspeed '05? by
[email protected]
Hello all,
I've recently lost my performance car (only transportation) to
hurricane Katrina. I need some new wheels soon...and while I'd
orignally planned to get an older miata, a '97-'03 or so, and put an FM
II kit on it...I need something pretty soon, that is reliable and
moderately zippy at...

Extended Warranty for a 2001 Miata? by
[email protected]
Hi all,
First..thank you so much for all the great feedback and advice. I think
I've found a good possibility...a 2001 black and tan miata. Mileage is
a little high (almost 80K)...but, the price is right.
Can someone give me advice on possibly getting an extended warranty on
this? Does one come...

Aftermarket radio/CD install for '90 Miata? by
Chip L
I'm interested in replacing the EOM radio/cassette (2 small knobs on
lower left) in my '90 with a FM/CD combo. I also want to install a
pocket in the void which will be under the new unit.
Sources/Directions/Advice appreciated. Not interested in moding the
existing unit. The car came w/o headrest...

High pitch whinner ('90) by
Chip L
'90 Miata 106k miles.
My car has developed a very high pitched whine/whistle coming from the
drivers rear wheel. Seems to take 15-20 minutes for the whine to
begin. Can eliminate temporarily by pulling up emergency brake or
swerving car f/ side to side. Brakes? Bearing? If bearing, is there...

Oil Pressure by
Chip L
The oil pressure of my '90 Miata (96kmiles) at idle is 15. The highest
pressure I see is around 30. Does this seem low to you?

Time for a new suspension? by
Chip L
'90 w/ 96,000 miles
Purchased the car 2 wks ago. Car is in stunning condition.
I suspect that the suspension/shocks may be worn. The car occasionally
bottoms out in the rear. It also shudders on rough surfaces. Front /
steering feels very tight.
How can I tell if shocks are shot?

Creaky exhaust on Miata NC by
Chipper
Hi,
The exhaust on my 2008 2.0i Sport NC has really got creaky of late - and by
creaky I mean that as it expands/contracts, you can really hear the darned
thing, even while the engine is still on. I've never known a noisier steel
exhaust and it's so crazy I wonder if anyone else has...

NC Oil Presure Guage by
Chris D'Agnolo
Hey, did we get a real oil pressure gauge back now in the NC?
It's always really bothered me that Mazda took the low road on the oil
pressure gauge issue.
Hope they have properly rectified that issue.

M2 steering wheel, in M1? by
Chris D'Agnolo
The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that it won't be a piece of cake but, I
really love the M2 wheel, hate the M1 and mine's starting to 'go'. Momo
wheels are nice but expensive. I'm pretty sure the airbag would be useless
but mine isn't functional anyway so... I'd love to hear from someone...

Who's here? by
Chris D'Agnolo
Well, it's been entirely too quiet around here lately. The only really
interesting posts I've seen lately on this thread were political (off topic)
and as much as I love this groups ability to stay on topic (unlike most
newsgroups), it was at least nice to see human communication taking place....

Awfully quiet around here.... by
Chris D'Agnolo
I hope everyone is out rat racing around so much that they haven't had time
to post much! It actually cooled off a bit here around the Houston area
today finally.

Dropping idle when headlights are on by
Chris D'Agnolo
There's a very good article on the home page of miata.net under the topic
'know your car'.
http://www.miata.net/garage/KnowYourCar/S7_Idle.html
I believe that this will exactly solve your cars problem and it's simple.

wheel question by
Chris D'Agnolo
Slightly OT, my daughters boyfriend has a Mazda 3 and he's looking at
aftermarket wheels and having trouble finding the proper offset.
factory: 52mm
he says most aftermarket wheels he's interested in: 40 to 45mm
Can you guys help him out with more than 'closer is better than farther'
please. Is...
