QUESTION: cooling system by
Christian Langis
Hi there.
My 11 years old car recently started to experience cooling system
problems. It does not overheat. The problem is, once it gets at nominal
temperature, there 'seems' to be too much pressure building up in the
system. As a result, the hoses are leaking. I have tightened the metal
clamps...

Rust-Oleum on old car? by

Some of the rust came back about 3 years later. I think it was worth it. The shine lasted
until I got rid of the car.

jan
I'd just like to ask if you guys can take a survey. It's about your
thoughts when purchasing a new car. There's only six questions so it
won't really take long (30 secs). Thanks.

Tires Question by
Chuck Hildebrandt
I got a nail in one of my tires (left rear). The nail entered the
tire between the tread and teh sidewall, sort of on an angle into the
tire.
The tire retailer said they could not repair the tire because it did
not go in flush at the bottom (tread area), so I had to buy a new one
($150!!).
Does...

NEW '04 chev crew cab upholstery FOR SALE by
Steve
I just purchased a '04 Chev Crew Cab with dark charcoal cloth. I had
the cloth professionally taken out and had leather installed. As far
as I can tell there are no cuts on the cloth. The truck was 2 weeks
old when I had the leather installed. The front seats are 40-20-40
split with the fold...

Jim Cate
Can anyone provide suggestions on auto "for-sale" websites are
comprehensive and easy to search? I've tried Edmunds and E-Bay, but they
don't seem to have what we are looking for (small SUVs in the Houston area).
Thanks,

Buying a Honda in California by

I live in Washington State. I found a Honda Pilot in So. Cal. for
several thousand less than here, so we are buying it and transporting
it up. Problem: the dealer says Honda requires us to register it in
California for a year. I've never heard of such a thing. Does anyone
know if this is true? My...
