the little things... by
peter
hi,
i got the bonnet rod pivot clip and installed it today. it is a
little item but it was a constant annoyance which i am quite happy to
be rid of. it is suprising just how irratating holding the bonnet
with your head can be.
gave her a wash and wax yesterday...all nice and shiny...

1.6 timing belt by
peter
hi,
i may have the chance to trade doing a 91 1.6 timing belt for some
upholstery work.
clearly i have done the 1.8 timing belt a few times :), is there any
thing vastly different doing the 1.6? i think it would be a good idea
to do the water pump at the same time. but other than that, is the...

95: need cps and tps connectors by
peter
hi,
swmbo's 95 with a jr/sc has been stumbling at steady throttle,
especially when cold, so i decided to solder the cam pos sensor and
throttle pos sensor wires where the blower related wires had been 3m'd
or crimped t ensure that was not the issue. well one lead came out
of the cps and the tps...

95, head locating dowel by
peter
sigh,
i found the head locating dowel on the floor of my garage and while i
probably know the "correct" answer, i was hoping someone would tell me
that it isnt really necesary to have it installed. btw it has a sebring
sc on it, (or will soon). removing the head would make mounting the
clutch...

what is the "hold" light? by
peter
hi,
i replace the oil pressure "idiot" gauge in my 95 with a real oil
pressure gauge and thought i would replace all the lights in the
instrument cluster while i was there, (why not at 115k miles), and one
of the lights would illuminate the word "hold" in blue if it were ever
to light up.
do...

M1 fog/driving lights by
Pete Breemhaar
I have seen many references to fog/driving lights on he M1, and the
associated dash mounted switch.
I take it this was a dealer installed accessory...
can anyone point me to an on-line photo showing the front of a Miata
equipped with these lights ?
I realize there are many possibilities with...

DRL module by
Pete Breemhaar
This may apply only to Canadian Miata owners...
I had commented in an earlier discussion on the merits of DRLs, that the
left DRL on my 94 would intermittently go out, even though the bulb would
flash with the left turn signal.
I finally got around to pulling out the DRL module(a light-green...
