rFactor Formula cars by

I sure hope the online code works OK because offline is a joke. This is the
worst AI Ive seen in a looong time (an entire field of Pedro Rodriquez's
sucks big time). Simbin needs to fix em up cause ISI failed miserably on
the AI, the interface and the 3 activation crapola.... Sure "looks"...

Ex-Starforce Publisher turns to STEAM! by

Ex-Starforce Publisher turns to STEAM!
SimBin a well known and PROUD Starforce Publisher has UPGRADED
its copy-protection system to a even more AGRESSIVE one, and
off course it had to be STEAM, the top of the line in AGRESSIVE
copy-protection.
SimBin's "RACE - The Official WTCC Game" will be...

TrackIR by
Mitch_A
Anyone use the TrackIR3 with RFactor? GTR and NSR both play very nice with
it.
I accidentally ordered the standard version (and they forgot the vector
clip) so in the conversation with the rep he mentioned a $30 discount with
Pacific Fighters so Im sending this one back for the Pro.
Im pretty...

iHave sinned! [Episode 23, in which Andrew McP iRents more cr*p] by
Andrew MacPherson[_2_]
Regular viewers will be familiar with the schizoid adventures of Andrew McP in
iRacing-land. You will be sick and tired or reading about his whiney, in-out,
in-out (shake it all about the track) trips to the virtual world where nothing is
free except the speech in the forums... well, sort of. It's...

Virtual RC Racing by
J. Todd Wasson
Posted this earlier but it didn't show up. Sorry if it's a double post.
The sim Lothar Pantel, Tony West, and I have been working on for an ungodly
amount of time has finally been released. This is IC 1/8 and 1/10 scale nitro
RC cars, so not something probably for the majority of you folks. ...

GTR Evo Arrived... by
Larry[_1_]
It's a DVD in a DVD case, with a single sheet controller guide. I just love
the first 4 commands:
Up Arrow - Accellerate
Brake - Down Arrow
Steer Left - Left Arrow
Steer Right - Right Arrow
And folks wonder why I just can't get into ISI based sims LOL

GTR and rFacror by
Andrew Sword
I haven't played rFactor yet and only just started on GTR. How do the games
compare?
GTR seem quite good so far. Easier to get up and running compared to GP
Legends. It seems you can spend many hours trying to master the game and
going extra levels of skill.

Racing Legends by
Tim Epstein
I don't know what is sadder; that the 2nd anniversary of the last update at
Racing Legends has now passed (20th October), or that no-one in the remnants
of this group bothered to mention it on the day.
:-(

SO, GTL? Starforce cause hard reboots? by
Sting32
Yes I have tried this treasure, it doesn't crash to desktop, it does not
whine about any of my apps (I did shut down Daemon toolz), long ago removed
cdspace. Yet we simply crash hell hard to BIOS screen with a 'device driver
but we're not sure which one or why" from XP Pro's error reporting...

RSC/USPITS: Time for FILSCA to step up to the plate? by
mcewena
It's inevitable that sites started/maintained by 1 or 2 individuals
which are useful enough to become hugely popular like rsc, theuspits,
GPL track database, GPLrank etc. will close. It's not a matter of
"if" they close it's "when".
People get burned out, tired of the abuse, discover a life away...

How to balance FFB by
Mario Petrinovic
Eureka, I finaly found the Holy Grail of FFB, : ).
The problem with FFB forces is slack. I found the way to balance
that slack. It's done with the Overall slider. On my system the slider
should be at 138%.
This way everything works as intended. I tried this with...

rFactor AI Tin Tops Vs Open Wheelers by
Dave Henrie
I have been reading lots of complaints about the AI in rF for the last
few days, But my first few days driving didn't seem to have the same
problems. I spent most of the first days using the fendered cars though.
Then I tried the F1ish cars and began to see what everyone was...

GTP isn't worth the hassle by
[email protected]
So now you need a fresh install of NR2003 and a working cd that you
must have in the drive to play this thing, a lot of people including me
don't have a working cd anymore and must use a crack.
Be aware also if you make another install on your hd and them at some
point decide to remove it, it will...
